Strategies & sound

Finalizing a guide with social media strategies and nerdy recommendations for the office while listening to previously undiscovered tracks. My conclusion is that dubstep and in-ear headphones is a good combination for my workflow, it keeps me bumpy and concentrated even though I was supposed to get out of here hours ago. Good fun.

Here’s some tunes that have been blocking out my surroundings today:

My friend Chriz in introduced me to cool and snappy Azealia Banks when i was in Wawa.

Azealia Banks – 212 (feat. Lazy Jay)
(2011)

Yesterday I discovered the absolutely brilliant TOKiMONSTA.

TOKiMONSTA – Little Pleasures
Creature Dreams EP (2011)

And right now I’m listening to some Dubstep I just found on Youtube to keep myself bumping.

Arkist – Rendezvouz
Rendezvous/Fill Your Coffee Vinyl (2011)

I know, a lot of music lately – sorry about that. I need to get a good stock of new sounds for my upcoming flights, busrides and a life without access to good internet connection. Also, I have noticed that I almost only post electronic music on the blog – that is because it’s what I’m listening to while in front of the computer. At home, there’s tons of jazz, neosoul and indie music playing, and on occasion, I indulge in dark post rock, cheesy cuban salsa and depressing portuguese fado. There, I said it.

Here’s an old Vetusta Morla song I have been killing lately. It’s none of the above, but awesome.

Porque ser valiente no es sólo cuestión de suerte.

Vetusta Morla – Valiente
Un día en el mundo (2008)
