As a part of the Master’s programme in Global Political Studies, I conducted research that aimed to explore the benefits and challenges of inter ethnic education in post conflict societies and societies that suffer from intractable conflict. The areas of interest were the benefits and challenges of peace education and the ways in which mixed schooling is used for building peace, creating understanding and reducing prejudice.
For interested, the paper can be requested in full text via the contact form.
After the paper, an official visit was made to the mixed schools in Jerusalem where more data was collected from principals and students for further research in the areas of peace education and inter ethnic schooling in post conflict and conflict societies.
