It’s still Sunday. These windows are double-glazed and there’s nothing but darkness on the other side. The good kind of darkness though, the deep and warm kind that embraces you with its calmness. You know, darkness that looks back at you when you look at it, staying on the other side of the window, silently letting you choose whether you want to be afraid of it or not.
I light candles for company and drink tea because it tastes nice. Im happy. Aber es könnte auch anders sein.
Good night.

I’m loving this conference for keeping my mind distracted. The presentations are incredibly intense, interesting and fruitful. The people I have met today have been very inspiring. Now I’m back home and completely exhausted.. and back to thinking and being far from in a good mood. Blue is the current colour in this negative tunnel, and sleep is the way out.

In October 2010 I arrived to Pushkar in India, alone. There were not many foreigners as the season for tourists hadn’t really started yet so I was the only person staying in my hotel. Maybe also because Pushkar was a small town that many people I had met earlier wouldn’t stop in, ‘it’s too small and there’s nothing to do there.’ they said.
I went partly because of those comments. When travelling, I try to find the small places where I can be far from the tourist-packed attractions, temples and beautiful monuments and instead concentrate on people-watching and genuine realities.
When strolling around Pushkar by night, I accidently stepped into a backyard filled with kids sitting on a big carpet. It was the first day of Diwali, the festival of lights, and there was a little street show being put up for the neigbourhood. The children were thrilled by the show and I spent a wonderfully random night on a carpet, watching the story about the return of Lord Rama and taking pictures.
Tonight I biked this city. And I loved it. Good night, Copenhagen.
Oh right, I never told you.. Remember The Weeknd? I got an email when he uploaded a new mixtape to Soundcloud two weeks ago, it’s called “Thursday” and just like before, it can be downloaded from the website for free. The album is like a mellow, drunken maze of naked emotions and whining complaints. It is pretty nice as background music if you like the beats, I find the pitifulness and the voice too irritating to love this though.
Read Ametist Azordegans recent review of the album if you know Swedish and want more.
