Lucky
How much I would give for my 13 year old poodle to be well again. Her sight is gone, her smell, her hearing, her teeth.. and now she had an epileptic seizure scaring me to death. I was convinced she was dying in my arms. Such a feeling of helplessness.
I’ve had her since I was 10. That’s forever.
You don’t put old blind people to sleep, and she’s been blind for 7 years now. I refuse as long as she shows signs of happiness.. she loves us, she loves physical contact and attention.. and that seems to be all she needs. As long as she isn’t in pain and wags her tail, things are okay.
I just wish she could run around all crazy like she used to. My dearest Lucky, just like a babysister that always understands.

Going home..
It’s raining in Crveni Grm today..
It’s our first rainy day since the last day in Belgrade and the bus to Mitrovica!
Hopefully it means that we’re bringing the sun to Sweden.
We’re going to Split today and our flight to Copenhagen leaves at 20:30, two hours later we’re practically home. Everything is so close nowadays.
I’ve had the best of times among the nicest of people.. this family is really loveable and I hope to come back to this place again soon.
I’m looking forward to Sweden now.. I miss my mom, my dog.. my car and my new phone.. haha
And I really look forward to be studying again, international relations, one year master programme. Yay!
And a distance course in International peacekeeping at the University of Queensland in Australia. And maybe some Chinese.. and working? …haha.. ehm, I thing I might stay?! :P
But yes, getting back home will be fun.. I’m not sure about the sleeping alone part though. :(
Sarajevo
So we spent two days in the beautiful capital of Bosnia & Hercegovina..
It was a really nice city with a strong oriental feeling and the mix of cultures made it one of the most diverse and interesting places we have visited..
We stayed at Hotel Hayat three minutes from Bascarsija which was great, their top floor has lower ceiling which makes the rooms really cheap. That gave us a really nice price in a perfect location.
We walked Sarajevo and had some kebab, then we accidently met one of Ollis friends when walking down the street and she invited us to a party later on in the evening.. we thought about going there and then to the Dara Bubamara concert.. right after eating some spinach burek and changing clothes.
What went wrong? We went back to the Hotel around seven in the evening to change and then we powernapped! haha.. and then we woke up at 3 in the morning, and got back to sleep. :)
Today we got up early and walked Sarajevo again, it’s not a big city at all so we walked all of it, got to the busstation, and went “home”. :)
So now we’re back in Crveni Grm with only two days left of this adventure..and I just got a big piece of goat cheese to bring back home!! yummmie!
Goodnight!
Sarajevo, Sarajevo, seher Bosn…
more CG
…and homemade goat cheese and honey and potatoes.. and amazing tomatoes!
We bought the kids a computergame named G-force, with guinea pigs trying to save the world.. it’s cute and heaps better than Grand Theft Auto that they were playing before.. a 3-year old and two 10-year olds playing grand theft auto and counter strike? Caroline and Olli brought G-Force and Harry Potter to save them.. cause truth is.. kids like whatever you give them.. and they love the “cute mouse that shoots robots”. And so do we!
And that is what’s up today.. we’ve been sleeping, eating, playing computergames and.. nothing else.
Couldn’t love this day more.
Back in CG
We’re back in CG now.. I’m awfully tired and I just want to sleep a whole day away!
Makarska was great, we met some friends from Malmo, danced some and got a lot of sun. Its a nice place to hang out in for a while during the summer, but the tourists can be a bit tiring.. it was really packed with tourists from poland, bosnia, italy and czech republic.. the beach was so crowded you couldn’t find a way to walk between the towels to get to the water..
Anyways, we’re back in the countryside now.. we thought about going to Sarajevo tomorrow.. but the thought of waking up early and walking around the whole day in the heat gave us other thoughts and we decided that tomorrow would be a perfect day to do nothing.. and that we will go saturday instead. :)
Here’s Ollis fb picture, it’s an old one from back in Malmo, but hey.. an old picture is better than no picture!
Good night!
