In about two weeks I will have about 7,5 hours to kill in Riga, reserving at least 2 of them for getting from and back to the airport leaves me with about five hours to explore the city. I will probably take a walk and explore the old town, watch some people, take some pictures and try to get a feeling of the city and Latvia… Question is, do I know anybody in Riga?
In 5 hours you’ve got time to see the Old Town in Riga. Though there’s some party environment at night I don’t think there’s that much to see. At least that is my opinion. I tend to go sightseeing very fast anyways so don’t take my opinion that seriously.
Moreover in 10-15 minutes by bus you are in the Old Town If I remember correctly.
